HPI geeft geen snelheid op, dat hangt ook van teveel zaken af, maar wij verwachten dat de Flux met een goede NiMh accu rond de 70 km/u haalt, met een Lipo nog veel harder zelfs. Niet inbegrepen: stick pack NiMh accu of lipo accu met afgeronde hoeken, een hard case lipo met rechte hoeken past er niet in. Verder heb je ok nog nodig een lader, en penlites voor in de zender.

HPI SPRINT 2 FLUX

De SPRINT FLUX is een hele snelle 4 wiel aangedreven elektro toerwagen, schaal 1/10, welke kant en klaar gebouwd, inclusief gespoten body geleverd wordt. De FLUX versie is uitgerust met een super snelle borstelloze motor en bijbehorende regelaar. Hij kan gebruikt worden in combinatie met een 6 cellen NiMh stick pack, maar ook met een 2 cellen Lipo, waarmee hij meteen nog sneller is dan met een NiMh accu. Met een 2 cellen Lipo kan de topsnelheid van de Sprint Flux al ver boven de 80 km/u uitkomen.

De set is compleet met besturing (stuurwiel zender), maar zonder accu (7.2V stick pack of Lipo accu) en een lader hiervoor. Ook moeten er nog 8 stuks al dan niet oplaadbare AA penlites in de zender

De Warp 5700 is een elektro set bestaande uit een borstelloze motor en bijbehorende speciale regelaar, welke toegepast kan worden in diverse 1/10th electro touring cars, buggies en trucks. Een borstelloze motor is razend snel, en kent nauwelijks slijtage of onderhoud. Ook zal de prestatie in de loop van de tijd nauwelijks teruglopen, zoals met een motor met koolborstels wel snel gebeurt. Met een standaard 6-cell NiMH battery pack haal je al gauw 65 km/u met de standaard gearing! Met een goede Lipo accu zal de snelheid nog veel hoger zijn.

Motor and Battery Combinations
The Flux Brushless System can handle a wide range of motors and battery types - please make sure that you use the right combination!

1. When fitted with the Flux Warp 5700 motor or other motors with 5700kV of power, you can use up to 8 normal NiMH cells or a 2S LiPo battery.
2. When fitted with a motor with 4600kV of power, you can use up to 12 NiMH cells or a 3S LiPo battery.

The term kV refers to the number of RPMs that the motors will try to deliver per volt applied, and is a standard term for brushless motor power.

The Sprint 2 Flux is the ideal club racer and is a great entry into RC racing fun! The design of the Sprint 2 chassis with its controlled flexibility gives the car great handling. A belt driven 4 wheel drive system guarantees smooth power transfer and excellent traction on all surfaces. Plus, the race proven suspension with real oil filled shock absorbers offer lots of racing features you wouldn't expect from a beginners car: adjustable camber and toe-in links, extra long upper links with new multiple mounting positions, adjustable Ackerman settings, adjustable droop, different caster and toe in blocks included in the kit... to name but a few. With a big foam front bumper, a reinforced chassis, upper deck and shock towers you'll see that the Sprint 2 can take the abuse of racing on the track and on the street! All important chassis and suspension parts are made from high quality, high impact nylon which makes the Sprint 2 almost indestructible!

The fully ball raced, dual belt, 4 wheel drive transmission with only one geared step (48dpi motor pinion to spur gear) is very efficient and capable of high power modified electric motors.

With sealed gear differentials front and rear, you never have to worry about time-intensive diff rebuilds on your Sprint 2.

The strong and flexible HPI polycarbonate bodyshell resists cracking and other damage!

8 rubber sealed ball bearings at the wheel axles and 6 more ball bearings at all other axles don't wear out like metal or plastic bushings and provide lower friction and more speed.

The reliable and sturdy HPI TF-1 radio controls the RTR Sprint 2 Flux, giving you ultimate control in a comfortably designed radio! Wil je nog meer snelheid uit je Flux, dan moet je het gebruik van Lipo accu's overwegen. De accu is uitgevoerd met kabels welke in de hoek uit de accu komen, en zowel opzij als naar boven als naar voren bij de accu vandaan geleid kunnen worden, zodat ze vrijwel overal in passen. De accu is van een passende balancer stekker voor de GT6 lader voorzien, maar omdat zo'n kabel nogal kort is, leveren we bij de set een balancer-verlengkabel, zodat de accu wat verder bij de lader vandaan aangesloten kan worden De accu en de laadkabel zijn uitgevoerd met High AMP stekkers die geschikt zijn voor hoge stromen. Als je regelaar dus nog met een normale Tamiya style stekker is utgevoerd, moet je er een High Amp stekker voor aan de regelaar bij bestellen (PK100310M). Je bent dan meteen af van stekkers die aan elkaar smelten door een hoge stroom! Als extra veiligheidsvoorziening is bij de set ook een brandvrije safety bag inbegrepen waar de accu in gaat tijdens het laden. Mocht er wat mis gaan, dan voorkomt deze safety bag erger

Om de zender van stroom te voorzien, heb je nog nodig 8 stuks AA penlites, al dan niet oplaadbaar.
Helaas heeft de HPI zender standaard geen laadaansluiting. Als je een beetje handig bent en kunt solderen, kun je er wel vrij makkelijk een laadaansluiting op maken. Als je dat gedaan hebt, kun je de Mega Peak laders gebruiken om zenders op te laden, daarvoor heb je dan wel een apart te bestellen laadsnoer nodig. Ook de Multi 4 lader kan een zender opladen, daar is geen apart laadsnoer voor nodig, dat zit er al aan.

Laadplug aansluiting om in te bouwen in een zender, zodat de accu's geladen kunnen worden zonder ze uit de zender te nemen. De meeste zenders zijn al voorzien van zo'n aansluiting, maar sommige standaard zenders nog niet. Dit soort zenders zijn vrij probleemloos open te maken, er zit niets ingewikkelds in. Vaak zit de mogelijkheid om zo'n aansluiting te monteren er al wel in, anders moet je op een geschikte plaats even een gaatje maken waar de connector in gemonteerd kan worden. Met inbouw instructie's en beveiligings diode, je moet wel kunnen solderen. Deze aansluiting maakt gebruik van dezelfde stekker als de zenders van bv. Futaba, Hitec, Ko, Accoms etc. Bijpassende laadkabel met bananenstekkers is de PKL201.

OM ZENDERACCU'S TE KUNNEN LADEN VAN ZENDERS DIE NIET VAN EEN LAADPLUG ZIJN VOORZIEN. VOORZIEN VAN PLUS/MIN DRAAD ZONDER STEKKERS VOOR 8 PENLITES, ZOALS IN VEEL ZENDERS GEBRUIKELIJK IS Veel zenders welke bij een RtR auto geleverd worden (o.a. van HPI en Tamiya) hebben geen laad-aansluiting op de zender. Er zijn dan 3 mogelijkheden: of je gebruikt een laadadapter voor penlites (meestal een bakje waar er 4 tegelijk ingaan, dus dan moet je 2 x laden), of je bouwt een laadplug in in de zender (moet je kunnen solderen), of je neemt een accu houder waar 8 penltes in kunnen, en die voorzien is van een passende aansluiting voor je lader die je gaat gebruiken. Deze houders voor 8 AA penlites hebben we in diverse uitvoeringen, deze versie is voorzien van twee uitgaande draden zonder stekker. Deze is bedoelt voor laders waar de draad ingeklemd worden, of om een stekker naar keuze aan te monteren.
